Our Humble Begining
The Masson family’s journey into the restaurant world began with a simple dream: to serve hearty, homemade meals with a side of warm hospitality. Back in the early days, they took a leap of faith and opened Friends Diner in Allenstown, NH—a cozy little spot where locals gathered for coffee, conversation, and comfort food that tasted like home. At the time, they were raising three small children, balancing the chaos of family life with the demands of running a brand-new business. With early mornings, late nights, and a whole lot of elbow grease, the Massons built a reputation for great food and even better company. Whether it was flipping pancakes at sunrise or sharing laughs with regulars over a cup of joe, they poured their hearts into every plate served.

To The Bacon Barn
After years of dedication and growing success, the family set their sights on a new challenge: The Bacon Barn Diner. Taking over the beloved breakfast joint more than a decade ago, they brought their signature charm, a passion for great meals, and, of course, an extra helping of crispy bacon. Under their care, the Bacon Barn has become a must-visit spot for locals and travelers alike, known for its generous portions, welcoming atmosphere, and the kind of food that keeps people coming back for more. From their humble beginnings at Friends Diner to now running one of the area’s favorite breakfast spots, the Masson family has proven that good food, hard work, and a love for their community are the key ingredients to success.
